Mr. Cook Returns To Houston

Imagine coming to a NEW school, being in charge of 400+ students, and being responsible for making sure everybody’s schedule is right so they can graduate; that sounds scary, that’s what Mr. Cook has had to deal everyday.

Mr. Cook is from Savannah, Georgia, then moved to Germantown for middle school. He attended Houston Middle School and Houston High School. In high school, he ran track and cross-country. His favorite part was “being a part of the team and being involved. Being on the team taught me how to work hard,” he said.

After graduation, he went to the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Wanting to be closer to home, Cook transferred to Memphis where he majored in counseling and psychology.

His personality calls him to help others. Had he not decided to be a counselor, he sees himself maybe becoming a nurse or in another helping profession. When he goes home, he likes to run and spend time with his two dogs. He definitely needs a way to relax with all the schedules he has to operate on. However, Mr. Cook is happy to once again be a member of the ‘stang gang and looks forward to what this year holds.
