This past week an interstellar record was broken. Nasa’s X-37B touched back down to
Earth after breaking its own record with 780 days continuously in orbit. The ship is unmanned;
however, its priority is classified. The ship cost a whopping 192 million dollars. Originally, the
ship was only supposed to be in orbit 270 days, but the success of this mission shows the great
importance of having a re-usable jet. In fact, the sixth iteration of the Boeing X-37B is set to take
off from Cape Canaveral in 2020. With the secretive objectives of these flights one could only
wonder what is going on up there. Do aliens exist? Can we inhabit Mars? Will the Knicks ever
win another championship? Only time will tell.
