Rhett and Link LIVE!

Emma Coons, Mythical Beast

This past week, I had the amazing opportunity to head up to Nashville and see Rhett and Link LIVE at the Ryman Auditorium. If you’ve never heard of Rhett and Link, first off, I’m so sorry, and second, here’s a rundown. Rhett and Link have been making content on Youtube and other online video platforms for over a decade including comedy music, sketch shows, and their wildly popular daily talk show Good Mythical Morning, which has over 15 million subscribers. I have actually been a fan of Rhett and Link for around 7 years, I know a long time right, so getting these tickets to go and see the show second row and meet them afterwards was an amazing experience for me. When I got the tickets for Christmas I even cried. Like ugly cried. Anyways, let me tell you about the show.

Even though their most successful endeavor is Good Mythical Morning, this show is centered around their comedy music, which was very special for me because their comedy music is what pulled me in in the first place seven years ago. They did all their biggest songs and some newer ones as well, and because they’re two down home southern boys they even paid tribute to Merle Haggard at one point. The whole show was full of laughs and smiles and made me grin from ear to ear for the whole performance.

After the show my mom and I had VIP tickets so we actually got to go meet both Rhett and Link. They were so nice and made sure to take time with each and every person and were super excited to hear that I’ve been a “Mythical Beast” (their fan-base) for so long. They’re also pretty tall, so they were kind enough to lean down for our picture. If any of y’all out there are Mythical Beasts or just want to have a great time and maybe be a little bit confused, Rhett and Link LIVE is the place to be.
