The Lego Ninjago Movie Review: Yes, I Liked It.

Emma Coons, Movie Lover

Just as the other two Lego movies did, The Lego Ninjago movie had me howlin’ the whole way through. The story surrounds the Lego City of Ninjago, and their struggle with an evil villain named “Garmadon.” Garmadon also just happens to be one of Ninjago’s hero ninjas’ Dad, too. What starts out as good vs evil soon turns into a father and son/coming of age story all in one.
Even as a 17 year old girl, I found these Lego characters incredibly hilarious. First of all, Jackie Chan was their ninja master, as he should be, and all the ninjas he taught were hilarious in their own rights. My personal favorite was the “Ice Ninja” (who was actually probably a robot) perfectly voiced by Zach Woods. The movie’s use of music also added to its hilarity, original music and sourced alike. And of course, with each Lego movie I see I’m amazed by how the movie is made, combining stop motion animation and computer animation flawlessly. If you wanted a good laugh you should definitely go watch this movie, it’s built to make you chuckle.
