The rumors of the Batman v Superman movie are true. Zack Snyder, the director of the upcoming movie, released a twitter picture of the Batman costume that Ben Affleck will be wearing. The release of the photo resulted in an early-release trailer from Warner Bros/DC Entertainment.

Astrophysicist, Neil deGrasse, appeared on “The Daily Show,” and said that Superman is painted more as the villain with no one to answer to, while Ben Affleck’s Batman directly answers to the Mayor of Gotham City. Batman answering to authorities reassures the public that he isn’t a menace but someone that people can rely on.

Some close-up footage of the Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman has also been released.

It is the second movie in the DC Cinematic Multiverse and it is also the most important. Of course the movie is mainly about Batman and Superman, but it is also featuring the likes of Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and Lex Luthor.

Gal Gadot is playing as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, and The Flash is also rumored to be in the movie.

There was also an extra few seconds of footage at the IMAX event that would only be seen by the fans who attended the event. The footage showed Batman and Superman charging at each other with fists out and ready to fight.

The movie is said to be released in March 25, 2016.
