Amanda Myers is not only a sweet girl, but she also knows how to make sweet treat. Amanda learned how to bake from her role model, her mother, Arlene Myers. One of Amanda’s biggest accomplishments is winning third place for her nutty chocolate cake at the Delta Fair. She enjoys baking things such as raspberry bars, and one day she hopes to own her own bakery shop so she can share all her goodies with everyone.
Myers is also very adventurous. She enjoys caving, especially in Huntsville, Alabama. She says her favorite part is “seeing the rocks taking shape the farther down you go and how unique they are.”
Myers is involved in FCCLA, and enjoys learning about animals, playing bad mitten, watching movies, and hanging out with her best friend, Caroline Dorroh. Her classes consist of wellness, biology, algebra 1, human studies, English 9 and art 1.
“Do your best, and never give up,” stated the future baker. With this motto in her heart, Amanda will definitely be sharing her sweetness with everyone.
